QUALITY IS GREAT, VISUAL APPEAARANCE NOT WHAT I EXPECTEDF. I ordered these magazine files for home use. The product seems strong, sturdy and of good quality. BUT, my plan was to cover these with fabric before using them for magazine storage on an open shelf. I was dismayed to find the TALL, NARROW, VERTICAL side is the side used to glue the seam. The glued tab does not run to the edge of the corner, but stops halfway. So, on that particular side, one vertical half is a double-layer of cardboard, the other is a single layer. This is not shown in the photo or mentioned in the description. Of course, this was the side I planned have facing out for a nice, clean look. The uneven surface makes this very difficult to achieve. I am very disappointed and will probably donate them to the local high school library. If that particular side is not going to face out (or the items placed in closed/covered storage were nobody sees them or cares), then there should be no problem and I highly recommend the product. However, if you plan to cover these to compliment your decor, if you plan to make these more decorative and prefer that particular side face out, you may want to seek another product.

They work very well. However, I was disappointed that the acid-free archival shelf files in this size were not available. I bought these as a temporary measure and I am worried about my music foxing while stored in them. The archival shelf files' blue-gray color would have been preferable to the dark brown of the boxes I bought. White would be the prefered color. If I find archival ones somewhere, I will give these ones away.
