Album Jacket Frame Kit
We stock two styles of Album JACKET Frames Kits: Long-term and Indefinite-term (100% archival).
LONG-TERM ALBUM JACKET FRAME KIT: Frame comes assembled. Holds one LP Record Jacket (with 12" vinyl record). It is made from 3/4" wide black polyester molding. Comes with a white corrugated backing, a high-clarity 4-mil polyester front and a sawtooth hanger.
INDEFINITE-TERM (Archival) ALBUM JACKET FRAME KIT: Holds one LP Record Jacket (with 12" vinyl record). Kit comes with an assembled, 1-1/4" wide profile frame (pressed wood with a black mica finish), a .060" thick, clear acrylic front sheet that blocks 80-85% of harmful UV rays; an archival corrugated backing (lignin- and acid-free) and a sheet of 4mil clear Melinex (mylar) that serves an archival spacer between the acrylic and the record jacket. It comes with a sawtooth hanger.
