Exceptional level of protection, but the mylar is so thick that it is next to impossible to get the flap to even get close to laying down flat. I understand why the beaded flap version exists. These are are an excellent concept, but just aren't very practical with this type of flap, which, in their defense, they do warn you about. Believe the warning.
