The clear acrylic front sheet is .040" thick and blocks 80-85% of harmful UV rays. A sheet of 4 mil clear Melinex® serves as an archival spacer between the acrylic and the magazine cover. The frame backing is archival corrugated that is lignin- and acid-free and buffered. The frames hold a minimum National Geographic size of 6-7/8 x 10" to a maximum size of 7 x 10-1/4".

Materials feel solid and consistent
Quality product and it fits a National Geographic magazine perfectly. The reason I don't give it five stars is that acrylic sheet it comes with doesn't have UV protection, so you'll either have to buy one separately or hang the magazine in a very low-light area to avoid sunlight damage to the magazine.
