I had to mail 16 albums and I used these and I really should've had something larger. I couldn't close the top. No way does it fit 18-20. I'd say it fits 10-12 with some padding/protection, 14 snuggly without some protection. It's a fine, sturdy box but I think it's advertised incorrectly.

The review that says these don't fit 20 is thankfully wrong. Unless you're loading a bunch of gate folds or double lp's these will fit 18-20 records easily, without squeezing. These boxes are specifically made so you don't have to add a bunch of packing material.

My go-to solution for orders of 15 to 20 albums. This makes a heavy load, and the sturdy double walls provide excellent protection for this weight. I cut and insert 12x3 inch spacers on sides to assure that the payload can't move around inside.
