Polyethylene is a soft clear material that has some give to it. It has excellent contact clarity. Our polyethylene is made from 100% pure virgin material, which has been tested by an independent lab and confirmed as safe for long-term storage. This material does not contain PFAS chemicals (forever chemicals). The recycling symbol #4 indicates that these sleeves are recyclable at most retail and grocery stores.

Excellent value and quality
I didn't read the description closely enough to realize that this jacket fits over the sleeve. Once I realize this, I adjusted my expectations and realized that it worked even better than I planned. See, I expected to replace the jackets and use these as inner liners; however, some of my jackets are perfectly fine. Having these thick, resealable sleeves allowed me to retain those jackets that are perfectly fine. ... now I just need some inner paper sleeves.

Craftsmanship is reliable
Very good product. I wish I had used these bags 20 years ago. Remove the bags from the package for long-term storage and store flat. Highly recommended.
