Question:This sleeve says for older 45’s. What decades are we talking about ? 60’s, 70’s, or 80’s 45’s. Want to check before I make my purchase. The sleeves I’m looking for are mostly for 1980’s 45’s. Thanks, Samuel. - Samuel C. (01/07/2024)
Response:Samuel, I can't definitively answer this question. We made the wider version in response to a customer saying that the original size we offered did not fit the older 7" records he had. This was the size that was suggested to us. By far the 7-/4 x 7-1/4 (SPP45R) are the more popular size. Safest bet is to measure your record sleeves.

Very snug fit for current 7" vinyls that come in a cardboard (versus thin paper) sleeve. Very snug fit for gatefold singles. For 7" that come in thin paper sleeves this works fine. REPLY: WE HAVE FOUND THAT THIS SLEEVE IS NOT A GOOD FIT FOR CURRENT GATEFOLD JACKETS. We will be coming up with a new size soon. Thanks for the input!
