Love these boxes

These boxes are exactly what I was looking for. I have an extensive comic collection that has been in shipping boxes for a while. I knew I had to protect them better. These boxes are ideal. They are basically corrugated plastic - inert - which is what we want. They look nice as well. Just one warning: you have to fold them carefully as there is one fold which can cause an unintended mid-wall fold. Other than that, I highly recommend.

I bought these boxes about 14+ years ago and forgot all about them. Found I needed to get more and was so happy they are still available. They are light, relatively rugged and obviously moisture and water resistant. They were exactly what I wanted then and exactly what I want now. All of the boxes are in their original shape, completely filled with comics, stacked in columns six high each. No sign of wear at all. Comics all smell fresh and new. I am ordering more 10 more!

Great concept. The size allows placement in standard bookcase shelving. Since most collectors have deeper shelves, it would be nice if they offered a size in between this small one and the Long Box; I think 15" long would be perfect. The only issue is that on 2 of the 4 boxes I ordered, the body's exterior plastic partially ruptured at/near the corner where the overlap seam was. This happened when the body was opened up from flat to rectangle. Bags Unlimited (BU) promised to replace them, so I await the replacements' arrival. Seems to me that either the design needs to slightly change to extend the seam overlap to the full width of the box front, which will stiffen that surface so it doesn't rupture/bend, or there needs to be better quality control on the integrity of that seam (I saw that if the end of the seam overlap aligns right with a "dip" in the corrugated plastic, it will bend and then rupture. I am confident BU will figure this out because the concept of the product is superb. I want to convert my entire multi-thousand book collection to these boxes once they fix this issue.

Top notch quality. As with all new corrugated boxes you need to trim the handles. The only complaint, which really is one, is that I would would awesome if it were a bit bigger to hold a solid 100 books. I use top loaders and 4 mil bags with thick boards and would love to store them by the 100 in these boxes but it is more like 90.

I have switched my husband from traditional cardboard comic boxes to these, and he loves them.

Excellent boxes, a bit smaller than cardboard but works for me.

I love these boxes. They're a littler smaller than their cardboard cousins. They are extremely sturdy. I have about 2000 comics in my collection and they're all in these boxes. The price is well worth the quality.

If you are looking for acid-free boxes, these are a great value!

Fantastic sturdy easy to assemble comic boxes. Nearly impossible to unintentionally damage.
