ARCHIVAL POLYESTER (PET) (Mylar) is an inert material of the highest clarity. We use DuPont inert Melinex® or a suitable equivalent. Polyester (Mylar) will not discolor, damage, or adhere to items placed inside it. It is a sturdy film that beautifully displays, timelessly protects, and gives extra support to fragile documents. Used by the Library of Congress. Indefinite Storage.

Great solution for long term storage of your valuable books. I use these as my step-up storage for books as they move out of the poly bags. Combine with an acid free board and microchamber paper for long term, worry free storage.

Best bargain around for mylar storage bags! Recently had an unfortunate incident where a pipe in the ceiling burst and flooded the wire storage shelves where my comics were stored (so much for having comics stored well above the floor)... a couple hundred comics were destroyed.... the other several hundred that were soaked, but salvaged were in my bags unlimited mylars/backers - some of the bags unlimited bags leaked, but the bags unlimited long term storage boards soaked most of water, saving many of the comics!!! Wish the other branded mylars and polys (which I was in the process of changing over) were as durable and protective!!! Great bags and boards!!! Ordering more to switch over the rest of my collection and for my new comics!!!

I have ordered multiple times from Bags Unlimited. This is by far the best place to buy this product. Great quality at a great price. But even better is their customer service. My last order came miss labeled and they had a new order out that same day. I will never by these bags from anyone else!
