The Beaded Flap style (BF) has a third piece of polyester that is bead welded to the extended back of the sleeve, creating the flap.
Archival Polyester (PET) (Mylar) is an inert material of the highest clarity. We use DuPont inert Melinex® or a suitable equivalent. Polyester (Mylar) will not discolor, damage, or adhere to items placed inside it. It is a sturdy film that beautifully displays, timelessly protects, and gives extra support to fragile documents. Used by the Library of Congress. Indefinite Storage.

I like the beaded flap, I think they're worth the little extra cost, but they may seem to be hard to work with. Here's my method: 1. Cut off a small triangle of material from each end of the flap. This makes it MUCH easier to insert into the bag. 2. Insert the flap into the bag first, then insert the board (if you use them) and the comic. 3. Pull the flap out of the bag. Re-insert behind the comic if you want, or just leave it out (what I do.) 4. To remove the comic, do the opposite. Insert the flap in front of the comic, then remove the comic.
