Response:We recommend stacking the78rpm/10" record atorage boxes no higher than 2 high. They are a super-strong box, but a full box of records can weigh up to 60 lbs.

I was very pleased at the sturdiness, yet light weight of these boxes. They assemble fairly easy and look as if they will stack nicely. Price per box was reasonable as was shipping and shipping time.

These work quite well, for storing 10" 78 shellac records, 10" vinyl records, and Edison discs. As mentioned in another review, you *may* want to leave a bit of space on each end if you plan to lift them very often, so the inner flaps from the fold-in handles won't rub up against the records. To keep discs from flopping around in that situation, maybe try cutting down some industrial foam - or even a large sponge - it can secure the bottom of the discs, while leaving room for your hands through the handle, without coming into contact with the records.

the first set delivered had no instructio and my parents had to tape the boxes. I called bagsunlimited and they sent two more boxes with the instructions. they are just what my parents were hoping to get. very sturdy!
