Response:Thanks for this question. We have a link on our website describing the qualities of all our poly sleeves. Here is the description for polyethylene: POLYETHYLENE (PE) is a by-product of natural gas. It is a soft, clear material that has some give to it. It has excellent contact clarity. 3mil is by far the most popular thickness. Our polyethylene is made from 100% pure-virgin material. Use for long-term storage." Excellent contact clarity means that when the record jacket is inside the sleeve, it is clear and makes a nice visual. Definitely snug sleeves. Ive been looking for sleeves that are a truthful 12.5" width, and these are it! The width of the opening is perfect for single lp sleeves, WILL NOT FIT ANYTHING BIGGER. A lot of sleeves are maybe .25" too big and make the lp feel loose inside the sleeve, these dont. I do wish there was a little extra space at the top of sleeve, the jacket sits a little too close to the opening, but not close enough to not be protected.

This product is ultimate in LP protection. Sleeves slip easily though tightly over LP jackets to protect not only the jacket but the record inside.

These sleeves are good, but their size is all over the map, some times they fit so tight, you can barely get them on a jacket, other times they fit like a 12 3/4 inch sleeve.

The Gold Standard. Been using these same bags since the 1980s. Have never had a single issue with them, seen lots of other substandard sleeves from other manufacturers. Thankfully somethings don't change over the years.
