NOTE: 6/13/23. BAGS UNLIMITED HAS SINCE CHANGED THE SIZE OF THIS SLEEVE. IT IS NOW 12-3/4 X 12-3/4" INSIDE. APOLOGIES TO THOSE HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM IN THE PAST. As others have mentioned, these sleeves are incredibly tight. Not too sure what kind of records they were designed for, but I've tried albums ranging from the 60's all the way through to ones produced in the 90's and I've had a hell of a time getting any of them to fit easily. These sleeves are just way too tight. The description describes them as having a "snug" fit - but in my opinion, they're flat-out too small. Another issue is that you can't fully "seat" an LP all the way inside the sleeve. It stops about 5-8mm away from the bottom and wont go any further in because of how tight the sleeve is. In other words, 5-8mm of empty space can't be utilized because you can't push the LP's all the way in - so the outside edge of the LP is left either flush or sticking out a bit (unprotected) on the open end. After spending close to $330 Canadian for just 75 sleeves, I've got to be honest, I'm not particularly thrilled right now. If you can actually squeeze an LP into one of these things, it looks fantastic. No question about it. Your LP will look like a shiny piece of artwork inside one of these mylar sleeves. The problem is trying to actually get an LP to fit properly. Larger sizes are available, but wont fit many of the available storage bin options out there (at least not the ones I'm using anyway). Finally, 7 of these sleeves were split right out of the box. My last order of the gatefold version of these mylar sleeves arrived with 6 split sleeves out of 25. Now 7 from this order. Love the look of these sleeves but really disappointed with their fit and the spotty quality control over them. These are way too expensive to be having these kinds of issues. Hopefully I can get 7 replacements from the ones that arrived split right out of thebox.

The best looking sleeves, bar none. BUT...they do tend to split along the edges now and then. For such an expensive sleeve, that can be VERY frustrating. You'll want to use the 12-inchers for single albums and the 13-incher for double albums. When I do find a split, I've used clear packing tape to make very discrete repairs. Visually, you can't match how they make your covers look like they're brand-new again. Sometimes better!

These things definitely make a record sleeve look beautiful... IF you can actually fit the sleeve in. These things are so tight that after trying them on two of my records, I've become actually afraid to force even a regular-thickness LP sleeve in, for fear of creasing the record sleeves in the process. This size is particularly not for you if you store your LPs with the vinyl outside the sleeve (to avoid ringwear to the sleeve). Gonna try the 13 x 13 size instead.

These mylar sleeves are the best investment you can make for your vinyl collection. They will not dull like regular poly sleeves will. It's like viewing your record collection for the first time.
