Artwork Specifications: For best results, create artwork in Illustrator or another vector graphics program. Vector art scales perfectly and is easy to edit , allowing us easy preparation of your artwork for printing. Additional fees may apply if your artwork requires considerable preparation.

1. We accept Illustrator files (.ai) to version CS2, or PDF files from Illustrator or other vector programs. Convert text to outlines to avoid font issues.

2. We accept Photoshop (.psd) files, PDF files, and TIFF files.

3. Raster images created in Photoshop, or other raster graphics programs, must be 300-600 dpi for a good quality imprint.  Artwork must be created at the size it will be printed or larger. Text should be created with anti-aliasing set to 'None'. Rasterize text layers in final artwork.

4.   2- or 3-color artwork must be color separated. Provide one file for each color to be printed, or separate layers in Photoshop or Illustrator files. Also include a color-composite file for reference. Each separation should be black on white, not the color of the imprint. If two colors are butting together or overlapping, trapping may be required.

     4-Color Process Artwork See raster image guidelines above. Text may be anti-aliased in raster images for 4-color process. Artwork for this printing process does not need to be color separated.

Sending Files: Electronic files should be accompanied by a brief description of the artwork. Note what version the the file was created with. If possible compress files with Zip of Stuffit before e-mailing. NOTE: 4-Color Process artwork does not require color separation. Files may be emailed to pmills@bagsunlimited.com.
