Our conservation grade SUPER ARCHIVAL BACKING BOARD material meets the Library of Congress archival standards. It is 100% alpha-cellulose, .040" thick, acid-free (alkaline pH 8.5), lignin-free, contaminant-free. It comes buffered with a 3% calcium carbonate buffer. Use for indefinite-term storage (hundreds of years).
