Polyester will not discolor, damage, or adhere to items placed inside it. It is a sturdy film that will give extra support to fragile documents. Use polyester (Mylar) to ensure your collectibles remain in excellent condition for years to come. Polyester is used worldwide in museums, libraries, and archives. Our polyester material is approved by the Library of Congress for indefinite storage. We use DuPont inert Melinex® or a suitable equivalent. For custom sizes, call for a price quote.

Our Super Archival Backing Boardsare sized perfectly to fit in ourpolyester sleeves. Thismaterial meets the Library of Congress archival standards. It is 100% alpha-cellulose, .040" thick, acid-free (alkaline pH 8.5), lignin-free, contaminant-free. It comes buffered with a 3% calcium carbonate buffer. Use for indefinite storage (hundreds and hundreds of years).
