FLAT SEAL heat sealers come with a flat wire which makes a flat seal across the bag. Each heat sealer comes with a replacement kit which contains one strip of Teflon and one flat wire the length of the purchased sealer.
CUT OFF heat sealers come with a round wire which heats the plastic and actually cuts and seals it in one operation. This cut and seal procedure is especially needed for shrink bags when a shrink wrap machine is not used. Each heat sealer comes with one replacement kit which contains one strip of Teflon and one round wire the length of the purchased sealer.

For best results and longevity of your machine, turn the heat up gradually to obtain optimal heat setting. Excessive heat will prematurely burn out your wires.
