I use this product to protect First Edition books and have had excellent results. My only complaint is that if you are not careful with the heat gun, the shrink wrap occasionally rips or melts a small hole(s) when going around the open edges of hard bound books. This product would be perfect (5 stars) for the task if offered in a thicker gauge.
