Stereoview Cards became popular in the early 1900's. It was an early attempt to create 3-dimensional photographs. A stereoscope viewer was used to view two side-by-side photos mounted on a card. Viewing an image in this fashion gave the illusion of depth.

Holds approximately 180 stereoview cards in sleeves. Inside dimensions are 4-5/8 x 7-1/2 x 11-7/8"(HxWxD). Made from 60pt board. Lignin-free, acid-free with a pH of 8.0-9.0. Buffered with 3% calcium carbonate.
Slant front in box allows for easy viewing of cards without removing them from the box. Boxes have metal edges for stacking strength. Ship assembled. This item has passed the P.A.T.
